  • Doctorate in Medicine (Ophthalmology) from the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP (2003)
  • Post-Doctorate from the Università Campos Bio-Medico of Rome - Italy (2006)
  • Former Head of the External Eye and Corneal Diseases Sector of the Department of Ophthalmology, Federal University of São Paulo – UNIFESP
  • Currently Clinical Director and Head of the Cornea/Cornea Transplant Sector at Hospital de Olhos Paulista-HOLHOS/ GRUPO HOLHOS-SP
  • Preceptor of the Residency Course in Ophthalmology at the São Paulo State Public Servant Hospital-HSPE
  • She has experience in the field of Medicine, with an emphasis on Ophthalmology, working mainly in the following areas: External Ocular and Corneal Diseases, Corneal Transplantation, Ocular Surface Diseases and Cataracts

  • Surgeon, clinician-scientist and professor specializing in ophthalmology
  • Graduated from the School of Medicine of the Souza Marques Educational Foundation in 1995
  • Affiliate professor of the stricto-sensu postgraduate course at the Federal University of São Paulo since 2010
  • Associate professor of the lato-sensu postgraduate course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC -Rio) and SBO (Brazilian Society of Ophthalmology) since 2004
  • In 2017, he was approved in a public examination for Adjunct Professor of Specialized Surgery/Ophthalmology at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), assuming this position in April 2018
  • One of doctors with the most published papers from Brazil to all the world
