    Kaweh Mansouri MD MPH

    Kaweh Mansouri, M.D., M.P.H, is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Glaucoma Center, Montchoisi Clinic, Lausanne and Professor at the University of Colorado, Denver. Dr Mansouri is the Associate Executive Vice President of the World Glaucoma Association. Dr Mansouri was the first ophthalmologist to give a TEDx talk. He has been ranked twice in the top 40 under 40 power list by the journal “The Ophthalmologist”. He has been named as one of the Top 20 Glaucoma Specialists in the world (Expertscape).

    Joel S. Schuman MD FACS

    (USA)

    Joel S. Schuman, MD, FACS is the Elaine Langone Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Professor of Neuroscience & Physiology at NYU Langone Health, NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Professor of Neural Science in the Center for Neural Science at NYU College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Schuman and his colleagues were first to identify a molecular marker for human glaucoma, published in Nature Medicine in 2001. Continuously funded by the National Eye Institute as a principal investigator since 1995, he is an inventor of optical coherence tomography (OCT), used world-wide for ocular diagnostics.

    Juan Alberto Dios Alemán MD

    (Peru)

    Juan Alberto Dios Alemán, MD, is the head of the Ophthalmology department at the Clínica International in Perú and current President of the Sociedad Peruana de Glaucoma. He obtained his medical degree in ophthalmology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and completed two glaucoma fellowships at the Fundação Altino Ventura in Brasil and Instituto Barraquer in Barcelona. He is a founder member of the Sociedad Peruana de Glaucoma and member of the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Glaucoma.
